The ceiling inserts look as though they have always been there and all of the painting of the plaster ceilings had been completed, leaving no sign of the old down light fittings.

With recent renovations of our home, we wanted to not only have more lights in the rooms, but also to use modern light fittings. The problem this presented was that the new modern lights require much smaller holes to mount them in.

I initially employed Brian Moore of Teclite Inserts to do eight lights in the lounge, which he did with a minimum of fuss or mess at a very reasonable price. The effect and the look are brilliant. WELL DONE.

I would definitely recommend Teclite.

I had a big lighting problem to solve. Some well meaning sparky had originally installed those lights in my house that look like an upturned bucket and are really NOT attractive. I thought the only way to fix this was to buy smaller lights and get the holes filled which of course, would be a BIG job and very messy.

By sheer luck I went to Alpha Lighting to get the lights and they told me about Teclite Inserts. Problem totally solved !!!

The inserts fitted both the big hole and the new lights perfectly and the only plastering it needed was around each light. I was able to finish this off myself as the plastering was very neat and clean.

The price was very reasonable and Brian was able to fix a little problem I had in the ceiling, plus we took out some of the extra lights we didn’t need and he filled those holes with a blank insert.

Altogether, an amazing job that was very well done.

For quite some time I had been looking to replace all of the large old-style incandescent down lights with modern LED down lights.

However, I kept finding that any solution being offered which would enable the new small diameter lights to be fitted into the existing large holes was not attractive at all.
